I’m Geraldine and I’m here to help you with your imaging needs. I have lots of qualifications and a long history of experience from the industries of Graphic Design, Photography and Digital Imaging. I won’t bore you with the details. If you do want to find boring stuff about my qualifications and experience, please add me on LinkedIn where you can find all my information.
I cover a wide range of imaging editing services, from very subtle ‘airbrushing’ on portraits so that the editing is invisible and the photo looks totally natural, to full-on illustrative digital art and composites. That’s a wide spectrum of editing work to encompass. Within that field I follow my clients preferred style, whether it’s a family portrait, lots of commercial products that need to look uniform, or illustrative art made from photos for a fantastic XXL poster.
The amount of work required to achieve your desired results obviously translate into the costing of your project. Free estimates are given, but may have to be adjusted subsequently, depending on the number of revisions you request. I am happy to be paid per image for small jobs, per hour for several images, or for longer projects you can pay per milestone.
Communication is the key. The aim is for you to be happy with the final result, as well as the invoice. We all like value for money and I believe I offer a great price, particularly within the UK and US. In this global world of ever-growing digital soup, I cannot possibly compete with the same prices you may be offered from more disadvantaged countries. I wouldn’t even want to, as there is room enough for everyone to earn their slice of the industry ‘pie’. However, when choosing a provider for imaging services, you must weigh up all the factors that make for a happy working relationship; the quality of the service, the quantity and speed provided, your commercial standards, time zones for communicating over projects, and not forgetting native language to enable understanding of each other’s needs. For long term projects, reliability over time is a primary consideration.
